“Dr. Rodger Murphree is the doctor of the future that Edison spoke of. Drawing upon his medical, chiropractic, and nutritional background, Dr. Murphree uses some of the most sophisticated, yet practical, scientifically based, nutritional therapies to prevent and reverse even the most stubborn illnesses.”
”Part Sherlock Holmes;
Dr. Murphree uncovers the biochemical glitches, medical
myths, and drug dangers that prevent patients from enjoying
optimal health. Part Christopher Columbus, Dr. Murphree is
a medical maverick who boldly explores and implements the
latest breakthrough therapies–years before other doctors
even know they exist. Part Miracle Man, he often helps the
‘medical misfits’ that other doctors, including those at
John Hopkins and Mayo Clinic, can’t.”

Dr. Murphree offers a sane voice at a time when our healthcare system has become lost in a sea of insanity.
Americans now take an
average of 12 prescriptions or more a year. However, side
effects to these drugs now take the life of one American
every 5 seconds. According to The Journal of the American
Medical Association, prescription drugs are the number 3
killer in the U.S. Dr. Murphree’s voice of reason rings
loud and clear; when it comes to drug therapy, “Less is
best.” Dr. Murphree is the doctor of the future. And,
thanks to him, the future looks brighter for the thousands
of patients and readers who follow his life enhancing
advice.
Our mission is to help others help
themselves live happier, healthier, and more productive
lives. We empower others to be proactive in their quest for
optimal health. We accomplish this by providing essays,
articles, newsletters, books, seminars, and products that
focus on clinically proven ways to get healthy and stay
healthy.
Today’s health care consumer is faced with a barrage of
medical information. Sifting through the medical
breakthroughs, propaganda, myths, fads, and pseudoscience,
to find the real truth about health issues can be quite a
challenge. Our recommendations are based on scientific
research and clinically proven, time tested trials.
And while others are writing about the latest fad study, therapy, drug, or supplement, nothing can take the place of being in the trenches with difficult-to-treat medical misfits for the last 11 years. Our founder and clinical director, Dr. Rodger Murphree, learned a long time ago that it doesn’t matter what the studies or academics say works. or doesn’t work; positive patient results are all that truly matters. Seeing patients on a daily basis allows us to stay focused on what is really important, helping others get well.
Despite all the medical breakthroughs and latest, greatest, overly-hyped drug “du juor,” our healthcare system is in desperate need of help.
Our health care industry in America is largely based on disease care and covering-up symptoms with prescription drugs.
While drug therapy can be helpful, even life saving, symptom management with drug therapy, especially long-term therapy, comes at a price. As reported in The Journal of American Medical Association, prescription drugs kill over 116,000 people each year. Only heart disease, cancer, and accidents take more lives each year. Americans take an average of 10.4 prescriptions per person per year. And with drug companies spending over 200 billion dollars a year to promote their wares, this number is likely to increase.
But does optimal health come from covering-up symptoms by taking a potentially health- robbing drug? We don’t think so, neither will you when you learn that many of the common drugs used today, actually cause additional health problems. For instance, individuals who take a commonly prescribed blood pressure medicine increase their risk of heat attack and stroke by 500 percent. Another common drug increases the risk of developing diabetes by 50 percent. Are there other natural options? There are, and we’re happy to share them with you on this site.
We invite you to take a tour of our site. Please visit our free articles and newsletter archives for examples of our philosopy. The "health concerns" link will take you to essays on specific health problems including ones on anxiety, depression, heart disease, and fibromyalgia.
